# Bluestone Celebrates 10 Years as a 1% for the Planet Member

- Bluestone Staff
- September 29, 2025

We were thrilled to see *1% for the Planet* CEO Kate Williams in *Vermont Business Magazine, in an* article exploring how the organization has scaled a global environmental movement from its headquarters on the shores of Lake Champlain. Williams highlights several Vermont-based members who are driving meaningful environmental impact, including Bluestone, celebrating **10 years** as part of this global network.

In the article, Williams points to the power of local businesses whose commitments extend well beyond their own walls. She notes that Bluestone’s business model, which integrates giving and responsible investment into every life insurance policy, directly supports environmental partners and strengthens the broader 1% for the Planet community.

As a longtime member, Bluestone is proud to stand alongside fellow Vermont organizations who are working to make business a positive force for ecological resilience, community wellbeing, and climate leadership. We appreciate the commitment of our customers who choose to be intentional with their financial decisions.
